Rater review
This review represents the view of the app rater and is not an endorsement by MIND.
App is free to download and use. It essentially records your mood throughout the day. Alongside your mood, you are able to select triggers for your specific mood (people, activities, social, places, etc.), and even journal anything about the specific mood. You are also able to connect this app to your Apple ID, and connect with friends and support them, while they support you. This feature allows you to see your connection's latest tracked emotion and vise versa.

Description from the app store — not vetted by MIND
Colors is a mood tracker and mental health journal that helps you understand how you feel, see what shapes your emotions, and feel more like yourself — one check-in at a time.
Whether you're working through anxiety, low mood, or stress — or you simply want to know yourself better — Colors turns everyday feelings into clear, personal insight, and lets you share how you're doing with the people who matter.
How does mood tracking work in Colors?
Log how you feel in seconds — no writing required.
- Pick from 120+ emotions across 7 color-coded mood groups, or create your own
- Add several emotions to one check-in — feelings are rarely just one thing
- Capture the triggers and factors behind your mood: people, work, sleep, coffee, exercise, your cycle, and more
- Add a private note for context
- Missed a day? Back-date any entry
What can I learn about myself?
Colors is more than a calendar — it surfaces the patterns you can't see day to day.
- See your emotion distribution and dominating moods over any period
- Find out which triggers affect you most
- Follow your wellbeing trend week by week
- View your whole year at a glance as a color grid
- Get a monthly Mood Score and see how it compares — anonymously — with the community
- Receive personalized tips based on your own patterns
Can Colors help me work through difficult emotions?
Yes. Colors includes guided tools based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Reframe a hard moment step by step: situation, thoughts, reaction,…
